About Bea *On Trial in Her New Home*
*BEA IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet busy Bea! She’s one of a litter of 4 healthy, happy puppies who were born in September. Her mum is a purebred Labrador while her dad is a Labrador x Doberman.
All of the pups have friendly, affectionate natures and are used to being handled (cuddled!). Bea gets along well with her foster carers own young dog just wanting to play or hang out. They all enjoy food, especially treats which is helping with their training and they’re learning the basics such as “sit” and “down” – Bea definitely knows her name! The pups have started going for walks on a lead and like getting out and about though of course they’ll need some more practice with this in their forever homes.
“Be-have”, as she’s affectionately known, was the runt of the litter and is an energetic and playful puppy. She’d be best suited to a home with another playful dog as she thrives on company and would quite possibly become bored and destructive without it Bea is a clever pup who sits and waits for her meals and isn’t a piggy when it comes to eating. She has fun playing with her sister or frolicking under the sprinklers in this hot Mildura weather we’ve been having – she’s a real water baby! She’s not overly licky like some pups can be and only barks for a reason. We wouldn’t recommend Bea to a home with young children as she may accidentally bowl the littlies over when she’s excited!
As Bea’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up having lovely manners. The pups are mostly outside though do sleep in a crate in their carer’s laundry so you’d have to be prepared to work on their toilet-training if they’re to enjoy the indoor/outdoor lifestyle we’d eventually love them to have. Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make Bea very happy indeed!
If you think you’ve got the time, patience and love to bring up Bea then please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link or by copying and pasting it into your browser: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet.html

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
