About Amber DL982
Friendly, happy, playful & loving... our sweet Amber would love to find her forever home. She is the kind of dog who will stay in your memory for your whole life time as the most loyal of dogs.
As Amber is an active girl, she will make a great buddy for your daily exercise. Her ideal home would be with a person or a family member/s who like to jog or go beach or trail running.
It is beautiful to watch her happiness in open spaces and exuberance meeting other dogs. She loves the beach and with encouragement does swim. She also loves to play fetch!
Amber will fit into family life well, too. She has a high activity level and enthusiasm for life, so although she is friendly with kids, she may be a bit too playful for the very small ones.
Amber is brilliant with the foster carer's own dogs, but she did have to learn a few boundaries in sharing affection with the other dogs. She is a quick learner, and with consistent training, she figured it out pretty fast.
She has so much potential in learning all sorts of tricks with the right guidance. Amber does rely on a human pack leader to let her know she is doing well or steer her in the right direction as she gets very disappointed with herself if she doesn’t, and will not respond well to yelling.
Amber has other hobbies too; she loves helping with watering the garden. It is great fun for her to catch the water in her mouth. She also loves chasey games with her human and doggy friends. However, Amber is not suited to a home with cats.
Amber is a gem of a dog and looks forward to meeting the right family or person to live out her days and share her happiness. If you'd like to meet Amber, please contact us by email today to apply!
