Boof ~ Labrador ~ senior (trial 18/12/15)

If this was a dating website, Boofy would be the pick of the bunch. Smart, mature, good looking, cuddly and house trained. He is the total package.

So let’s get down to business. Boofy is a 9 year old yellow Labrador. Despite, his age Boofy has plenty of life left in him; he still bounces up and down in excitement when his humans arrive home and pushes his foster sister out of the way to be the first out the door on walks.

Being an older gentleman, Boofy has perfect manners inside the home; he is currently allowed on the bed and lounge for cuddles, which he laps up, however he will obey if asked to get down. He is not destructive inside, even if left alone. Boofy is a water baby at heart so a trip to the lake, beach or a clam shell of his own to wade in, would make him very content.

Boofy loves nothing more than chewing on a meaty bone, going for a daily walk and getting attention from his humans; he therefore needs to go to a home where he will be allowed inside to be a part of the family.
He is a big, strong boy but is very gentle for his size. Boofy gets on well with other dogs of all sizes; he is such a happy dog that a playmate would be welcomed but is not necessary in his new home.
