About Comet (Dog/Cat Friendly)
Meet Comet a gorgeous Kelpie/Labrador/Irish Wolfhound Mix boy, who is sweet, gentle and easy lovable.
Comet absolutely adores his foster family and is thriving in care with his foster host dogs, a male kelpie, a female kelpie puppy and a gorgoeus little kitten! This guy has it all, DOG FRIENDLY, PUPPY FRIENDLY, PEOPLE FRIENDLY and CAT/KITTEN FRIENDLY.
Comet enjoys daily walks and walks well on the lead, bushwalking and can run beside you whilst you bike ride. Comet is learning his RECALL off lead, and meets other dogs with a wagging tail. Comet can SIT and WAIT for his food. Comet loves to play with his foster siblings and is described as MEDIUM to HIGH energy level dog of MEDIUM size. Comet is naturally protective of his property and will give a warning bark to let his foster family, know someone is there.
Comet has a lovely temperament and would make an ideal companion to any ACTIVE family, who have doggie experience. Ideally Comet would be best homed with another dog or be a best mate tradie buddy or someone who is whom alot during the day, if Comet was to be an only dog. Comet requires DAILY exercise to his boredom at bay.

Adoption details
When enquiring about Comet, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.

Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Comet is located in Ellalong, NSW. If there are other dogs in the family we encouraged you to bring along your existing dog to meet Comet.
