About Yukon
Yukon is a friendly, affectionate boy and would suit a home where he is allowed inside to spend time with people.
In the past Yukon has lived as an only dog but he also enjoys the company of another dog of similar size and nature. Yukon gets along with both male and female dogs.
Currently Yukon is on a diet as he is a tad on the pudgy side. He would enjoy a casual daily walk and is quite easy to walk on lead.
At home Yukon will follow you around the house and lay at your feet when you sit down. If you let him on the couch he'd probably be pretty happy with that too.
Yukon has not had formal obedience training but is a fairly settled boy. He is not a high maintenance dog and is generally well behaved. He can jump up when excited and he has not lived with children previously so he will be best in a home where any children are in their teens.
Yukon's new owners will need to feed him separately to other dogs as he can behave inappropriately at food time.
Yukon will need a home without chickens, cats or pocket pets but he has been around cattle with no issue.
Yukon will explore if not in an enclosed yard, and whilst he doesn't normally go too far he will need secure 5ft fencing to keep him safe.
Medical notes
Yukon is a overweight but in otherwise good health.
