About Gibson
Who could resist this adorable face, I ask you?! My foster mummy says she sure can’t!
My name is Gibson, and I’m a beautiful boy with thick, shiny black fur. (By the way, my foster mummy thinks it’s just fabulous that my fur barely sheds, as she has a house full of white tiles!)
I’m somewhere between the age of 9 and 12 months old.
I’m a bit of a special boy being part Oriental in breed, which I think makes me a pretty cool kitty, in both looks and personality.
I am curious, smart, loving, and very chatty. I will talk to you about anything and everything.
My human is very important to me and I will involve myself in everything you are doing, including following you everywhere you go and wanting to sleep with you at night.
Orientals make the perfect pet, usually getting along with other cats, dogs, and children. Whilst I’m yet to test this theory with other cats and dogs, I do live with a 3 year old human and we are as thick as thieves. I have not once tried to bite or scratch and I’m very accommodating with all the squishes and squeezes she likes to give me.
Do you know that Orientals can even be taught to walk on a lead and play fetch? Pretty cool hey?! I would love to find a forever home where my humans have the time to explore and develop my intelligence.
I do love to hide and sleep in small tight places, either under the couch, in the wardrobe or under the bed.
I’m still wary of strangers so you will need to be patient with me, and I will most likely hide in any of the above mentioned places when visitors come over. I think this is something that will improve with time as I get more comfortable and learn that I am safe and loved in my new home.
I have so much love to give. Would you like to be the human I can give it all to? I sure hope so!
I’ll be patiently waiting to hear from you.
Lots of love, Gibson.
