Hi there!
Alfie is the name cuddling is the game.
I am looking for my forever home where I can be someone's special little man as I deserve all the love in the world. I didn't have the best start to life but now I am ready and waiting for my new family to find me. I'm looking for a mature home to live out my twilight years and can only hope they they will love me as much as I will love them.

I am blind so am needing to be an indoor dog where my owner will be home a lot especially while I am adjusting to my new home. Taking on someone like me means that you will need to be extra mindful where you leave things around the house as I will bump into them. Re-arranging the furniture for example will make it difficult for me to get around so these are the little things you would need to consider.

Some say I'm a bit of a gummy bear.. well actually I do have only a couple of teeth but that doesn't stop me enjoying my tucker! Just because I may be 10 doesn't mean I want to sleep all day.. I love my little walks and getting to smell the roses!

I'm not suitable to live with children as I could easily become frightened with loud noises and fast movements. I have met some small calmer dogs and was okay with them because they gave me my space. Any boisterous dogs however I wouldn't be suitable to be re-homed with. The shelter staff also say I have been okay with cats but like all animals you will need to introduce us slowly.
