About Carly
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
Carly is a playful, sweet-natured girl. Despite her size, she would love nothing more than to be a lap dog! You'll never have to go looking for her, because it's guaranteed that she will be just behind you waiting for a cuddle.
If you only get motivated to exercise SOME of the time, then Carly is the dog for you. She'd love to go for a walk if you feel like it, but otherwise will do a quick spin cycle of the backyard (a mad dash on a loop) before crashing for the rest of the day.
MY IDEAL HOME: I love being close to my family, but I will be just as happy lazing in the yard when you have to work. When I do come inside, I am really good at staying off furniture and relaxing in my own special spot, while you watch TV or cook dinner.
In the backyard, I sometimes need to be reminded that not every place is good to lay on, like the BBQ table or on top of a bush. :) I really love my food, and look forward to seeing what you've got in your cupboard!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am really happy relaxing most of the day, but I'll get up and run and play for a bit if you really want me to. My big floppy cheeks will give you a laugh when I'm racing around too.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I absolutely love children, but I do sometimes forget my size and this can be overwhelming for children that are not confident with big dogs. Kids of high-school age and older will probably be the best match for me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I really don't like cats in my territory at all, but I just ignore them when I'm on leash and out walking.
I get along well with other dogs, but I would need to meet any potential canine brothers or sisters first just to make sure that they can get on with me.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
