Dottie DL1204

Dottie is a gentle girl who likes walks and LOVES running at the river. She gets along well with other dogs and will run and play for a time and will remove herself when she has had enough.

Dottie is happy to be a shadow and follow you around the house or backyard but she also enjoys some quiet time laying under a tree or soaking up some sun.

She knows “sit”, “wait” (for dinner), “ok”, “laydown”/ “drop”, “no”/ “aaahh”, “come” and is learning “stay” and use hand signals. She travels well in the car and doesn’t try to jump over the seats and is content to look out the window or have a nap.

She cannot wait for you to get home!! Her whole body gets involved in the tail wag and she wriggles all over just waiting for the cuddles and kisses she loves so much, but she does jump up (we’re working on that).

She adores her people and often checks on them during the day…she will sleep on the bed if you let her and won’t leave your side all night.

Dottie is a bit of a nervous nelly and can be wary of new people, especially men. She has been working hard on this with her carers; she's met a lot of strangers recently and reacted well when meeting them for a second time, allowing petting and licking them. She hasn't met any kids or cats at this stage.
