About Moxie - Shih Tzu x (trial 29/11/15)
Meet Moxie - this stunning little boy is a 10 month old Shitzu X weighing 6 kg. Moxie is loving life and a delight to have.
Moxie is extremely affectionate. He is seeking an active forever home where he will be included in all the activities.
Being just 10 moths old he is still a pup and is quickly picking up the very best of manners. He is very well behaved inside. He is socialising well and loves to meet new friends in the park on his daily walks.
Moxie is toilet trained, will sit on command and walks confidently on a lead. He will need to be with a family who can give him daily walks to continue his socialisation and provide further training. He is willing and wanting to learn and loves his treats for his efforts.
Moxie is very gentle and great with children. He is good with birds and cats. The lawn mower, leaf blower and vacuum don't bother him. Moxie is not a barky dog, however if someone comes to the house he will let you know.
Moxie would love his forever home to have another pooch for him to play with. He loves to play and run around with his two foster sisters. Moxie is learning to play ball. He is great in the yard during the day, however he does need to be with his family while they are home.
Moxie is definitely an inside dog. He sleeps in his own bed at night and loves to wake up in the morning to be given pats and cuddles.
For more information or to meet Moxie, please contact his foster carer Amanda by phone 0424 041564 or email: amattheheights@gmail.com. Moxie is in foster care in Adamstown Heights, NSW (Newcastle).
Moxie's adoption fee is only $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
