About Cheyenne *Urgent Foster Needed*
Little Cheyenne has had a rough start in life, and as such she is extremely frightened of the world. However, once you gain her trust she is a loving and loyal companion. She loves cuddles and being right next to you at all times. She is a lovely girl, just needs to learn that humans can be kind. Can you show her?
She is looking for a wonderful carer to show her the world through new eyes. Her ideal carers would be a younger fit couple, preferable with a large yard, no other pets or children. She needs and loves daily exercise and play time. In addition, she needs plenty of reassurance, play and love. Her ideal carers would be committed to training, and helping her feel safe and secure.
Cheyenne's training is coming along in leaps and bounds. She knows and responds to her name, as well as sit, stay, drop and give paw on command. She is eager and willing to learn new commands and loves treats! Her lead walking skills are improving with the ability to go on short walks. That being said, she will need to continue practising these skills. She is muzzle-trained, with some experience using a Halti. Cheyenne loves exploring the great outdoors in quiet and non-crowded areas.
Cheyenne has had little socialization with the world and needs a carer to show her the world is not a scary place. Her carer will have on-going support and guidance from our team of animal behaviourists and trainers to help Cheyenne adjust to her new life as a loved companion.
