About Chase ~ Shih Tzu, 5yo boy (On Trial 13/1/16)
My name is Chase and no one is really sure why as I don't Chase things at all. I am a 4 almost 5yo Shitzu boy and had been staying with my foster brother Snoopy and our farm friends including horses, goats, cats and 8 other doggy friends big and small, adults and children humans.
My foster family says I'm absolutely adorable and they have no idea why I was surrendered, but I know they say that about all their foster doggies.
I love running around with my dog friends and try to play with the cats but they hiss at me, I just walk away and try again next time I see them, you never know, one day they may play with me.
I am such a social little man I think I would prefer a family with another friendly, playful smaller dog. I also need to be allowed inside as I do sometimes get a little bit nervy if I'm unable to cuddle up with some human company on the lounge. If I see you inside and I'm locked out I start to bark at things for attention, yet if I'm allowed in and out I'm as quiet as a mouse.
I have proven my ability to take my wee outside and haven't lifted my leg even once in the house and I never chew or break things.
I love my children friends but they are very good with dogs so don't pull at me or yell, if I had little children or boisterous children in my family maybe I would get nervous as I like a safe, calm environment. My foster mum thinks maybe I was in trouble at my old house as if anyone yells I usually run and wait out of the way to be told what to do.
I am such a good boy in the car, I sit harnessed and look out the window, I love walks too and am a little adventurer off lead, yet come as soon as called and when on lead- never pull.
I love little people cuddles and pats as long as they're not rough or too boisterous. I am such a versatile man and adjust so well, already having a couple of families over a short period of time through no fault of my own, but because of this would really love a forever home to call my own.
If you think we may suit each other please email my foster family and tell is about your family (human and animal) by filling in an adoption questionnaire.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
