Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Rogue, female cattle dog, 4yo (rehomed 22/12/15)
Rogue, 4yo, female, Australian Cattle Dog x. She's an active, happy, friendly girl who loves to run around off lead and play fetch. She likes to play with other dogs. She doesn't mind children but I wouldn't consider her suitable for children under 10 years old.
Rogue would be a terrific companion for someone who likes to go for a daily walk or run, or especially a bushwalk. She gets quite excited in the car so she's probably not the dog you want to take on that big trip around Australia.
Rogue has been a much loved family pet but finds herself in need of a new home due to a family breakdown. She is only young and we'd love to see her brighten up the life another family.
For more information or to meet Rogue, please contact Donna on 0466 099 426 or email trudgetty@hotmail.com. Rogue is in foster care in Newcastle.
Rogue's adoption fee is $300 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
