About Nellie
Nellie was born 16.04.08. She is a mature 7.5 year old desexed female greyhound . She hasn't raced for years however she didn't get the 'happy ever after 'retirement she deserved either and managed to stay cooped up in a crate for all these years since . She has watched her younger friends come and go while she has waited patiently for a soft bed or a couch to lay on . Nellie would suit an older couple or a younger family in a home where she could be the only dog or one with a male dog for company . She is very gentle and affectionate and looking to please someone who would love her in return. Her adoption fee has been subsidized by a few wonderful supporters who want to help her find the best home ever, so her adoption fee is now only $100.00 and she is desexed, micro chipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated including heart worm prevention. We insist that our kittens and cats are adopted into indoor only homes unless otherwise stated. Enclosures attached to the house for sun baking are encouraged. Our dogs and puppies new homes must be securely fenced. \ Property inspections may be required. We also ensure that all our pets are desexed before they leave our care which is normally at 10 weeks of age for kittens and 12 weeks for puppies.
