About Ted ~ Shepherd x Kelpie (On Trial 31/1/16)
Meet Ted! He is a Shepherd X Kelpie and is currently 5yrs 10 mths old.
Ted is a very loving boy with a beautiful nature. He loves to play and he gets on well with the other dogs in care.
Ted has been in foster care for 2 months now, and he has been no trouble at all. He is very well behaved
Ted sleeps inside and uses the doggy door to go outside. He loves to be around people and is very affectionate. He loves our grandchildren, who are aged 16 and 11. He’s a pleasure to take on an outing, and it would be nice if his new family had a play mate for him as he loves interaction. He would be a bit timid at first, but fine once he’s settled. He loves going for walks and playing with his favourite pillow.
For more information or to meet Ted, please contact his foster carer Doug on 0418 629 853 or email chez.puppies@gmail.com. Ted is in foster care in Blackalls Park, NSW (20 minutes north of Morisset) and is available for adoption interstate.
Ted's adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
