Hello there!

Are you looking for a gentle giant with a sweet face and a big heart?

Then come say hi my name is Shelby and I am a Mastiff x young lady and I am ready to find my new forever home.

I get along well with other dogs and have been matched up here at the shelter a few times. I would be happy to meet your furry companion if you have one already. I am not a fan of being left alone by myself and feel more relaxed when there is another furry companion with me so for this reason I must go home with another dog.

I am a really relaxed girl so I would be well mannered indoors if you let me but love my yard space as well. I would love nothing more then to lounge around and sleep the day away or roll on the grass in the backyard and sun bake in any sun spot I can. I also love my walks however sometimes I can be a bit unsure of new areas but will respond well with yummy treats and positive reinforcement. I am love my toys and can be really active so include me in family fun activities of a weekend like runs along the beach or long bush walks dog parks or even just running a muck and playing in the backyard.

I might look like a big boof head but guess what I am quite a smart cookie. I already know how to 'sit' on cue and the staff here at the RSPCA think I am an angel but please keep up my positive training so I am well mannered anywhere I go. Sometimes I forget my size and like to jump when I am excited so please keep asking for a sit to help with my manners.
