About Jed - Young Kelpie X (trial 21/11/15)
Introducing Jed - a gorgeous 5 month old Kelpie x. If I was only able to use one word to describe this boy it would be LOVABLE! This boy loves everyone and every other dogs he meets. He just wants to be everyone's best friend and to please all of those around him. It is almost guaranteed you will fall in love with him straight away.
Jed is currently living with 2 other dogs that aren't overly playful and a small foster dog that he has become good friends with. He also adores his 2 human foster siblings aged 6 and 8, Jed would be best suited to human playmates around this age or older as he is quite quick on his feet and could accidentally knock them over running around. Jed would love a forever home that has another dog who loves to play as much as he does.
He is an active dog that will need stimulation to keep his mind busy. Jed has lots of chew toys here and plenty of room to run around and gets taken on walks to explore our yard, and he is very happy and content. This gorgeous boy loves going for rides in the car and will just sit quietly watching out the window waiting to see where we are going, Being a social dog, he loves going to doggy parks to meet new playmates.
Jed is still very young and will require additional training, although he is very intelligent and learns very fast. He always comes when he is called, doesn't jump and is always happy to sit at your feet for a pat and a cuddle.
Jed is happy to be outside, he currently sleeps inside, but if you had another dog that slept outside he would be happy to stay outside too. Jed is toilet trained and has had no accidents inside. If you are after the most lovable dog then Jed would be the dog for you.
For more information or to meet Jed, please contact his foster carer Suzanne on email chazzybear777@gmail.com. Jed is in foster care in Limeburners Creek NSW (30 minutes north of Newcastle). His carer is happy to drive him into Newcastle to meet.
Jed's adoption fee is $400 and he is vaccinated, desexed, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
