Houston

Houston is a stunning Silver American Staffy with a huge heart and gentle disposition. He is the perfect companion at home, adores nothing more than to watch docos with you on the couch. He is super cheeky and humorous too, running around the garden with his toy monkey.

Houston has extreme thunder anxiety, and MUST be kept safely and securely indoors when left alone. He is learning to use a doggy toilet as he must be kept indoors due to his anxiety when left alone, or during storms, fireworks or other upsetting/loud sounds that he may encounter from day to day.

We are looking for a gentle, dedicated family for Houston, that will help his gorgeous spirit heal from all the abandonment that he has experienced prior to rescue. He is a big strong boy, and a gentle giant, yet too excitable for little children as he might accidentally push them over. Houston is afraid of men but has had great interactions since coming into rescue, his family will need to be aware of this and reward all positive experiences with gentle males. Houston must be an only companion animal at home, for now.

We will include a visit from a behaviourist in Houstons adoption to help his new family understand him and teach him some new obedience skills.
