If you're after a family friendly, house trained, fun loving pup to join your family, Coops the Collie (nicknamed booster because of his speedy feet) might be the one for you.
He has settled into life with us seamlessly & is excellent with other dogs and kids (he lives with and follows commands from children 3-7 including one with a broken arm).
Being young he gets a little distracted during training but obeys the basics even when directed by a 3 year old. We are thinking he will find agility very rewarding & will start training this next week.
He eats side by side with his Amstaff foster sister and loves to learn from her, everything from tug to swimming to what is acceptable during play time. He is a sweet, charming, adorable dope that deserves kids and another fur sibling to love him as much as he deserves.

As we rely on our foster carers (who are all volunteers and have families, jobs and pets of their own) to help with adoptions it may take a couple of days to organise for you to meet a dog once you have submitted your adoption application. We appreciate your understanding and patience with us while we work with you to ensure the perfect match for your family.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
**Please note that all paperwork including the Microchip Change of owner form will be handed over after the 10 day trial period.**
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
