About Rhino

Rhino is a beautiful dog with tonnes of love to give. He came to his foster carers as a timid little puppy and has blossomed into a confident young man.
Rhino loves lounging around and enjoys spending time with people, but he really comes to life around other dogs where his energy and enthusiasm for life are on full display!
MY IDEAL HOME: My perfect home will have another dog to help put me at ease and teach me how to act in my new surrounds. I'll also need a backyard I can run around in, or a family that will make sure I get walked regularly and get to socialise with other dogs.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I love to romp and play with other dogs, and if I don't get to go outside I don't mind causing a bit of havoc around my foster parents' house! When people are around I am quite content to lounge around with them for hours, lie on the couch or watch a bit of TV, as long as I get my exercise in at some point. I love a good snuggle!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I love kids, but I can become a little uneasy when they come up to me suddenly. I feel a lot calmer around older children of 10+.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love other dogs, in fact they're just about my favourite thing in the world! I am much more trusting of humans when they have dogs by their side. My foster parents don't have dogs but they make sure I get to go outside and meet other dogs at least twice a day. Being around other dogs helps me learn how to behave around humans.
I've walked past a couple of cats but I've never shown any interest in them. I've never lived with one but I'd be willing to try!

We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
