About Mai Tai
Mai Tai has the fastest tongue in the west!
When she isn't practicing to become Australia's best trick dog Mai Tai likes to spend her day playing with every dog or cat she sees, licking every hand or leg in reach, or... doing absolutely nothing! This little girl has two speeds, go and stop. If there's fun to be had she's right in the mix, but otherwise she's chilling in her crate or stretched out on the grass in the sun.
She's a super fast learner and has conquered the basics of sit, down, roll over, beg and spin during the first two days of being in foster care and she also comes when she's called (most of the time). She's well on her way to being house trained and is always very happy with herself when she has held it and gotten outside. This little one is a very clever cookie!
Mai Tai is a very friendly girl with people and other dogs and she's currently being taught that running up and giving new dogs kisses inside their mouths isn't always the best way of saying hello. This is one lesson she's not picking up as quickly so she'll need a bit more work on learning how nice girls meet new people without the use of their tongues.
She is a typical rough and tumble pup and will hang with the other kids (human and dog) without any trouble at all. The perfect house would be one where she has someone willing to play with her and continue on with her training. She loves tug-o-war and is very quickly picking up on how to play that with other dogs and not just people. The pool is also a favourite hangout of hers too.
If you're looking for a happy-go-lucky puppy that is ready for anything then you may just need to meet Mai Tai!

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
