Austin is a great dog; his favourite place to go is the river, but even better than the destination is the trip itself, he loves joining you for car rides.

Austin is also really happy just chilling at home. He can spend time outside while you're at work, he's well behaved & doesn't bark or get up to mischief when left alone. His favourite part though is when you arrive home, as he loves to come indoors to sleep on his own bed at night.

Austin is good with people; a typical Heeler, he is loyal and friendly, just isn't good with other dogs. Like many rescue dogs Austin does have a quirk; He has anxiety towards passing cars & tries to go after them. He is steadily improving, and this is something he will need continued work on in his new home with a confident owner.
