Hermes - In foster in Preston

Say hello to Hermes, the sweetest golden boy of your dreams! Are you looking for a bit of luxury in your life? Hermes is a distinguished gentleman with champagne ginger fur, softer than a silk scarf. And much like a Birkin, the value he brings to his new home will never depreciate!

Hermes knows his worth and loves to be pampered. He will sit on your lap (or anywhere really) to be brushed and groomed for an extended time sit while you lavish him with attention. He may even groom you back to show his appreciation by licking your hand! He also enjoys a good petting sesh, especially scratches near his tailbone and under his chin! Scratches behind the ear will definitely earn you some purrs!

Hermes does have some special medical needs - you may have noticed he’s partially blind in one eye! He has and eye drop once a day, and after some recent trouble with asthma, has a puff of his inhaler morning and night. But don’t let that scare you off, as he knows the routine and handles it all like a champ! He just needs someone willing to give him that extra care and attention that it takes to support his medical needs.

While Hermes doen’t need as much playtime as a younger cat, don’t let his limited vision and distinguished age fool you! Hermes is still interested in some rough and tumble - especially before dinner - chasing after flying toys and wrestling with feathers on sticks! His energy is obvious in the morning when as soon as the alarm goes off in the morning he’ll come running and jumping up on to the bed, smooching your face because he’s so happy you’re awake!

Hermes is a special guy who does everything quietly - he meows softly, snores gently when he sleeps, and even his purrs are a low hum. so so much love to give! His vet describes him as the friendliest boy in world, and friends rave about his cuddly demeanour. He would love for you to come visit him and be his forever home!
