About Bear samoyed
Bear – Samoyed/Husky X : M/C No.: 982000362787649
Introducing Bear. He’s a little embarrassed at the moment - he’s usually a fluffy boy, but right now he’s growing back that lovely coat after a severe clipping due to neglect and subsequent matting of his coat.
Bear is looking for love and craves affection and company. If you’re at home he does like to be inside with you. He is perfectly behaved inside and will let you know when he wants to go out. He would prefer his human to work from home, be retired or maybe have a young family.
Bear is a quick learner (he’s so eager to please), so he already knows to sit and wait for his dinner and to let his humans thru doors before him. He’s great indoors, happy to just settle down on his bed and snooze beside you. He’s had some lead training with one of our SODR volunteers and he’s now an absolute winner in the walking department. He does need plenty of exercise and is proving to be a great running buddy. Running your thing? This snowball may be exactly what you need in your life.
Bear’s two legged foster sister is ten years old and he adores her and her friends. He’s a definite hit at school pickup and netball training – loves the attention and laps it up! He currently lives with two arrogant cats, they keep their distance as he is quite interested in them, but with training he’s definitely improving.
Bear will need brushing/grooming on an ongoing basis, so please, if you don’t have the time or dedication, please apply for a dog with a low maintenance coat. Bear is not enjoying his short haired look, shortly he will be back to his plumey best and would like to stay that way.
Bear is currently residing in Spotswood.
