About Max Free To Good Home
MAX was rehomed but due to a drastic change in circumstances for his owner ....he needs to find a new home again.
Meet Max, a sweet and friendly young boy looking for someone to shower with puppy love!
Max is good on the lead and knows how to sit and drop on command. He is very people-focused and loves a treat as a reward for being a good boy! Max rarely barks and does not have any desires to escape. As Max has been in care he has become more settled and chilled out, especially since being desexed.
Max is fine with older or bigger dogs, and is learning good doggy manners from his fellow furry housemates. Max has been around small dogs and our Chihuahua puts him in his place. Fine with cats too.
He is dominate to female dogs. Max would benefit from having an experienced, assertive pack leader (human).
A great traveller in the car, you hardly know he is there!
Great with kids, he does like to lick fingers :)
Max was rescued from a remote pound in north western NSW, so his exact parentage is unknown.
Max currently weighs around 30kg at 6 months old. We can’t say for sure how big he will grow, but we do know he has largish paws, a huge heart and so much love to share with his lucky new family.
Medical notes
Desexed 4th Nov 2015
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
