Buster ~ Mastiff X (On Trial 22/12/15)

Buster is a 2 year old Mastiff x who is looking for his forever home. This absolutely beautiful dog has been dubbed the Big Friendly Giant.

Buster is a very quiet and affectionate young soul. All he wants in life is a big cuddle. Buster loves to be around his family and while he is happy to hang outside during the day, he will need to be allowed to sleep inside.

Mr Buster absolutely adores his foster brother and sister. He is happy to let his foster sister be the boss and appeases his foster brother who wants to play all the time. Buster is the type of dog who is just happy laying around watching the goings on in the household. All in all, he just wants to please.

Buster is good on lead and is a pleasure to walk. While he gets a bit excited at the beginning of a walk, he quickly falls in step and walks beside you, stops when you stop and listens to his foster mum.

When Buster came to his foster home, he was very timid and undernourished. Unfortunately he had a rough start to life and has experienced abuse. He cowers at yelling and loud noises and can be scared of men until he gets to know them. Despite this, Buster loves his foster dad and would be fine in a forever home with both males and females as long as he is shown love and affection and his family are considerate of his gentle nature.

Buster gets anxious when alone so would need a family who is home most of the time. Since his arrival he has come leaps and bounds, and is more and more comfortable each day.

He is house trained, follows basic commands and waits patiently for his food, showing off his lovely manners.

Because of Buster's size he would suit a family with older children as he may accidentally knock little ones over.

Buster in in foster care in Charlestown (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $300 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and lifetime registered.
