Snorkel on trial in his new home

Snorkel is on trial in his new home.

Snorkel has been with his family all his young life and now because he has become a belligerent teenager they have decided to find him another home as they just cannot manage him.

Snorkel will need a very experienced understanding
new owner who is prepared to give him plenty of exercise and training.
At least 2 hours of off leash running and another hour or so walking that should include obedience and lead training every day.

Snorkel is 9 months old and is beautifully bred from lines with lovely temperaments. However being a typical shepherd he will push boundaries to the best of his ability.

Snorkel must also go to a home where someone is home most of the time and be included in all aspects of family life where practicable. We are not sure how he is with other pets so an only home at this stage please.

The best home for this young boy would be all adults and all experienced German Shepherd owners. No children please.

You must have trained a shepherd to a reasonable level
at obedience and even better had experience with difficult shepherds. He is not a nasty dog and he is not aggressive but he is strong minded and will try to get away with not having to do as he is told. Once he has received some discipline, training, plenty of exercise and firm boundaries his new owner will be rewarded with a loving, respectful, intelligent loyal family companion.
