About Melody
Melody is currently in a loving foster home with 4 kids, the youngest is 3 years old, she is happy to sit and watch the daily activities approaching people at random when she sees an opportunity for a quiet pat. Her favourite place to sleep is either on the lounge or on the floor close to her foster mum.
Melody has a small sized foster sister dog. They are not bothered by each other.
Melody is litter trained and loves laying around. She is very shy and needs to be approached quietly at first, she eventually will accept a gentle pat and hug. She will build up her confidence with the right family. She is very curious and readily adventures around the house. Melody has been with her foster family for about 8 weeks and is making excellent progress with socialization, it's like she has always been there.
Melody acquired her name by the different vocalizations she makes...its not loud, just a quiet conversation level and is an absolute charmer to chat to.
The one thing her carer has noticed is that she is not the sort of cat that is interested in jumping on the benches. She has never been put on the kitchen bench and is happy to sit on the mat in the kitchen while her food is prepared.
Melody is a beautiful cat, both in looks and personality, as a foster mum it's going to be incredibly hard to let her go so if you think you are that special family who can offer her a full and happy life please contact us today for your meet and greet with this beautiful girl.
As with all my foster babies, her diet is a mix of wet and dry food, kitten milk and water. The occasional chicken neck and pet mince. The cats have a cat tower they readily play in and scratch instead of the furniture.
Melody would be suited to a family who will play with her everyday and help bring out her beautiful personality and be prepared to share your bed at night especially if she is to be an only cat.
She will be desexed and her vet work will all be complete before rehoming.
Medical notes
Happy, healthy cat
