About Donna Summer
Hello, my name is Donna Summer. A few months ago my owner suddenly passed away and unfortunately there were no family members that could care for me. Instead of being taken to a shelter, I was left on the property with my four siblings to fend for ourselves. After a few weeks we were found by a caring neighbour who looked after us until he was able to bring us to Lort Smith. I was quite sick when I first arrived, I looked to have had a very rough time and I also had a case of cat flu. I was sent into foster care where I received the medication and TLC that I so desperately needed and deserved. My foster carer has told wonderful stories about me, although I can be a little shy at first I was a lovely companion once I settled in and am a really friendly young girl that likes to be around people in a relaxing environment. After a health check with the vet I was found to have FIV. This cannot be transmitted to humans or dogs but can be transmitted to other felines through blood and saliva, this is why I will need to be re-homed as a strictly indoor cat. This is completely fine with me though as I love snuggling up indoors and receiving love and attention.
