About Astra
They call me Astra but I sometimes hear my foster mummy call me Cuddlebutt! She thinks I am hilarious, I like to roll around all day and then throw myself into my clam shell and paddle around. I mean I will even do that with the water bowls as well, or anywhere there is water.
I am the last one of my litter of 7 to find a home and I am a little sad on why. I have so much love to give and so many laughs that I am sure you would adore me if you gave me a chance.
I currently live with 6 other dogs, all small breed ones and I seem to be one of the biggest so far, but that doesn't stop me from wrestling with my host pug puppy friend at all. He's a blast!
I have also had some playdates with larger dogs and I loved wrestling and snuggling with them as well. Anyone who will play with me is a great friend in my eyes.
Since being in foster care I have become a very cheeky and confident girl and I love nothing more than being held like a baby for a cuddle and Oh, and have I mentioned that I LOVE water?
Anyways, I am very much ready to go out and find my own home now and I would love nothing more than being with another friendly and playful dog but I think I would be okay as an only dog- as long as my new mumma takes me out to play and gives me some cuddles when it's quiet time. I have met a few kids and they were okay, I was a little scared of them when they were noisy so preferably kids over 10 years would be suitable for me but if a little dog savvy kid was in the household I am sure I would love them as well. I haven't met cats yet, but I am indeed young enough to be able to live peacefully with them, I may try and steal their food though... Oopps.
A house that is reasonably active would be good as well, as I will be a large girl I would very much need to be able to stretch my legs but I bet if you took me to the beach I would be in HEAVEN. I would also like to be able to come inside when you're home, just to check that you're okay and then we can have a little cuddle with one another if that's okay. I am happy to sleep on a doggie bed in the room as well, that's if you don't want me on the lounge.
My foster mum says people get concerned that I am pure white and could have sight and hearing issues- I am very happy to say that I haven't shown any signs so far of these issues. But due to my fair skin I will definitely need some doggie sunscreen when it's hot, just to make sure I am safe in the sun..

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
