Hi – I’m Ayra. I am a sweet older gal looking for a soft couch and a warm lap to curl up on. I am 6 years old, but don’t let my age fool you – I am as playful as a pup when you get home from work and I still have plenty of moves! I love toys that squeak like nobody’s business and like to play tug of war but I let the humans win so they don’t get bored playing with me. I LOVE kids and am very sweet and gentle when I am around the little ones. I’d love to be an inside/ outside dog because I really like to be around my family when they’re home. I had a bad experience when I was young being attacked by another large female so I don’t trust other dogs very easily, but I’m slowly getting to know my foster brother and he’s teaching me that it’s okay to trust other dogs. I’ve had a little go at playing with him but I don’t want to let him know I like him TOO much so he’s going to have to work just a little bit harder. I let my guard down once I know I am safe and secure and would love to find that safe and secure place on the sofa with you!!
