About Mariachi
How many puppies get this hashtag? #perfectpuppy
Mariachi has been in foster care for around three weeks and everyone he's met (including dog trainers and breeders) agree that he's a very well balanced little guy. He's toilet trained, crate trained, socialised and travels well in the car. He knows sit, drop, shake and sit and wait for his food. He's still learning to walk on a lead but he's getting the hang of it. At puppy school he went in the ball pit, on a skateboard, across bubble wrap and through a cat tunnel with no fear whatsoever.
He's currently in care with four medium sized dogs and loves a good game of biteyface. He's very respectful of other dogs and doesn't pester them to play. Occasionally he'll get silly and do some zoomies but mostly he's happy just to chill out and sleep. During a storm he wanted to play outside in the rain. He sleeps through the night and doesn't fuss when he's left alone while the rest of the pack is taken for their walk. He only chews on the things he's been given to chew on, or sticks. LOVES a stick!
He went to a dog friendly pub and slept under the table most of the night. He met a parrot there and didn't try to eat it. He hasn't met any cats or pocket pets. He's met children at puppy school and been fine with them. He's not a bitey puppy and he's never been a jumper either.
While in care #perfectpuppy is being given every opportunity to become the best he can be, but in order to continue on that path his adopter will need to commit to providing Mariachi with good boundaries (not just physical), ongoing training, regular exercise and stimulation, as well as love. He'd be best suited to a firm but fair owner who has time to invest in raising a puppy. If the work is done over the next 12 months he'll be a #perfectdog and bring years of happiness to the right owner.
(Please note: He looks like a bit of a sad sack in his photos, but they were taken at the end of a very long day of being out and about. He's actually a happy little chap!)

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
