Xander

They call me the International Man of Mystery!

I found myself in front of the RSPCA with no idea who I was or how I got there, I couldn’t tell the people there what my name was or how old I am so they dubbed me Alexander the Great (but of course, only a name fit for a king would do!). My foster mum thought that was a bit long though so I’m now Xander! And I’m slowly learning my new name!

I’m tall, dark and handsome, and seriously relaxed about life. All I want is a comfy bed and for you to let me sniff all the smells on my walks. I’m quite happy chilling out in the garden or asleep on your bed while you go to work. I get it. You’re busy. I don’t need you around all the time. Just come home with lots of pats and cuddles ready for me and a yummy dinner for me to look forward to (otherwise I might help myself to those treats you left on the bench).

I love playing with other dogs! I bounce around the yard and love doing zoomies with my foster sister. Sometimes I don’t realise how big I am though and that some smaller dogs might get a little scared of me (who WOULDN’T want to play with me though, right?) so I just need to be reminded that not all dogs are as keen to play as I am!

Sunday morning cuddles with my family are the best and while I sleep happily in my own bed all night, I love to wake my foster mum and dad up with a kiss before I join them for cuddles in their bed.

I haven’t met any little humans yet or those things they call cats so I’m not sure if I like them yet, but I think I might. Nothing really bothers me so I think I could deal with little humans if they were accidently a bit rough with me and I’d love to find out if you've got them in my forever home!
