Brutus *Senior*

Brutus is a loyal and very loving dog who loves to be around “his people”. He is not demanding, asking only to be fed twice a day and taken for a daily walk. He is great on his own and isn't interested on socialising with other dogs; life is just fine when it is him and his people thank you. Brutus is very alert and protective, and will let his owners know as soon as there is another presence on the home property, even if it is only a possum!

Brutus is fully house trained and knows how to sit, come, stay, shake with both paws (sometimes at the same time) and beg. He is a very intelligent dog. He also travels well in a car, sitting or lying quietly during the drive. He has been good with the young grandchildren visiting his foster home but can get excited when they get noisy in their play.

Brutus feels the cold and loves having his knitted jumper on or lying on his bed with his blanket covering him. His favourite place during cold days and nights is in front of the fireplace.

The ideal home for Brutus would be a mature couple looking for a really great companion. If there is somebody at home most of the time, so much the better. Treat him with kindness and he will reward you with loyalty and love, and an enthusiastic greeting.
