Summer

Summer came to us quite broken and shut down emotionally. At first she wouldn't look at us, she wouldn't walk and she wouldn't eat. She was battered and bruised, she had bite marks and scars all over her, she was living in a hoarding situation with many dogs and the conditions weren't good. She had given up.

We got Summer to the vet, she was xrayed and given antibiotics and pain killers, so her physical self was on the mend, but her heart was still sad.

We took her to a carer that had no other pets but a lot of love to give, and here is when her heart started to mend. She started to wag her stumpy tail, she started to make eye contact and she started to show her true personality, which is a sweet loving little girl with a heart of gold. She is a short legged little girl, like a Corgi, possible crossed with Kelpie because of her small nose and pointy head. She is the perfect size really. she is calm and quiet and loves pats and scratches.
