Rubie ~ Chihuahua (on trial 1/11/15)

Hi everyone my name is Rubie my foster mum calls me "Rubes" though, I’m a tiny 2.6kg Chihuahua who is still very much a puppy only being 7 months old.

I enjoy playing with toys and chewing on bones. I’m also still learning how to walk on lead properly, remember practice makes perfect. I don’t like being in the car for long trips , I’d rather go on quick trips anywhere as I can get a little stressed and worried.

I'm still learning basic training (sit & come & stay) I’m getting better the more I practice. I’m very playful once I warm up to you as I can be very timid to start off in new environments and with new people.

I would benefit from having some ongoing training classes, due to my age I am eager to learn as long as you have some good treats.

Ideally my forever home would be a retired couple/single or mature person who is home all the time and must have another small breed puppy or young playful dog. I need a playmate as I enjoy having a buddy to play with and sleep with. Rubie would be suited to a home without children and cats.

Rubie needs to be an inside dog and to be only outside in the yard while you’re in the yard with her supervising. Of an evening Rubie sleeps inside in a crate.

Rubie is currently living with 5 other small female dogs and a cat. She doesn’t get along with the cat as she barks and chases her so best for Rubie to go to a home without a cat.
