About Bambi
Bambi (or BamBam, as she is fondly known by her foster family) is an affectionate and intelligent young girl who has definitely mastered the art of canine/human cuddling. :)
An excellent runner and jumper with long legs (for her size!) and a small muscular build, Bambi also loves being brushed and is very photogenic - she has great potential be trained for agility or show. Or she could just as happily be a stay-at-home pampered pooch!
During her short time in foster care, Bambi has learnt to sleep the night in her own bed and is coming along very well with her toilet training. This is a testament to how quickly she bonds with people she trusts, and how willing she is to learn the rules of living with humans.
The lucky person/family who gives Bambi a fresh start will be hitting the jackpot with this little sweetheart. She definitely recognises those who are kind to her and rewards them with oodles of love.
MY IDEAL HOME: I'm hoping to find my furever home with a gentle person who is patient, confident and experienced with dogs. I love being inside with my family and crave attention and physical touch. My human foster brothers and sister take turns sitting with me and patting me. I can easily waste my day away being cuddled, chasing balls and chewing on my plastic toys... rest assured, I'm very good at knowing which things I'm allowed to chew and which things I'm not!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am very active, with long legs that gracefully take long bounds and high leaps. I can easily burn a lot of energy either being professionally agility-trained or chasing balls on a Saturday afternoon while you sit in the yard enjoying your day.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I absolutely love children, but would be ideally suited to kids old enough to read my body language so they leave me alone when I need a rest.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I am good with dogs as long as I am able to be the top dog in the house. I like being the boss. There are no cats in my foster home, but I have been interested and non-threatening to those I have met.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
