About Slick (Child/Dog Friendly)
Slick was saved by Wally's Doggie Rescue, from the kill list and placed in foster care.
Slick is proving to be a lovely gentlemen in care and is finding himself in this world and learning that not all humans are bad.
Slick has come into foster care in a family environment. Slick is doggy social and has not made his mind up about what a cat is, Slick normally takes a wide path when he walks past them. Slick is NOT pocket pet friendly.
Slick is a small framed boy, who loves cuddles and kisses. Slick has basic training and can SIT, walk on a lead and has brillaint RECALL and is HOUSE trained. Slick has a stumpy tail trait, with the slim line kelpie body and gorgeous golden kelpie eyes.
Slick can be timid in new situations but is coming around and growing into a confident young boy. Slick is a smart boy and a quick learner.
Slick is being fed a premium diet and has now reached a healthy weight range.
Slick would suit a young family who could take him out everyday for a walk and continue in his doggie manners. Slick could be homed as an only dog or with another dog. Slick prefers a medium to high energy doggy friend, who has confidence and manners. Slick is not fussed on a male or female owner, he loves everybody and he loves children.
Slick is a combination of a working breed dog and loves his walks and runs on the beach but also quite happy to laze around. If he doesn't get his walk everyday, he's still quite chilled and relaxed. Slick has not been destructive in his current foster home at all.

Adoption details
When enquiring about Slick, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Slick.
Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Slick is located on the Central Coast NSW and is available for a meet and greet today!.
