About Samira (Dog/Cat/Poultry Friendly)
Samira is a sweet, natured, gentle very cuddly 10-week-old puppy who loves everyone. She is in foster care with 3 older dogs, a puppy, a cat and 5 chooks \ and tries to make friends with all of them. She has not yet met any young children but she should be the perfect companion for a family with energetic children as she won’t be a big dog and does not jump on people and is super cuddly. She loves to please and when she greets you her whole body is one big wriggling wag. She is working on toilet training and learning basic commands like sit and is a quick learner. Samira is a cattle dog cross which is an active, high-energy breed so needs a family who understands her need for lots of exercise, company and the mental stimulation of learning new things. Samira loves the company of other dogs so would do well in a home with another dog.
Samira has a gentle personality and she is being well socialized by her foster older dog auntys and is learning good doggie manners. She will need to continue meeting new people and dogs to continue her socialization and confidence.
Samira’s perfect home would be one where she can sleep inside and have lots of room to run about in the daytime and an energetic family to play with and go for walks and teach her new things.
Samira will be available for adoption after her vet work is complete.

When enquiring about Samira, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.

Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Samira is located on Central Coast in Springfield, NSW.
