About Rocket *I'm Just $200!*
Are you looking for a dog who is not just a dog? A "super dog" who is yearning to be accepted and loved as a cherished part of your family? Then Rocket dog is for you!
Rocket is a gentle and fun-loving Aussie Cattle Dog cross. He is a well behaved boy who adores children (especially the little ones) and is very good at ensuring he doesn't hurt small people when he is excited. \ He loves other dogs and adores lazing in the sun or playing tug-of-war with his foster sister. Rocket has not been treated well in the past but is learning to trust people again, so a family who is able to continue showing Rocket that people will not hurt him is a must.
Rocket is very social and loves meeting new people and dogs. When he arrived, Rocket was very scared of toys and didn't understand that we weren't trying to hurt him when we play. He is now learning how to play like a normal dog and be happy, and he loves to relax and be carefree, chase a ball or chew on a squeaky toy. Rocket has also demonstrated that he is very intelligent and has picked up basic obedience with ease; he would do well with a family who understands his desire to please and love.
It is clear he has seen more than his fair share of nastiness in his short life and this gorgeous boy deserves a family who will value and love him, and in return receive the unconditional love that is so evident in those big, soulful brown eyes.
Rocket is fantastic with kids and dogs, and for such a young dog he has surprisingly very few bad habits, which really aren't “bad” in the grand scheme of things. He likes to have a chew which is easily redirected to objects that are OK for him to chew, he doesn't dig and we rarely hear a peep from him.
