About Ruby *Videos Attached reduced adoption fee*
** RUBY IS NOW PART OF OUR PETS INTO HOMES CAMPAIGN ADOPTION FEE REDUCED TO HALF PRICE**
Forget diamonds in the rough - they are nothing compared to a Ruby of the heart.
Born on the 4.2.10 our beautiful Ruby Tuesday is the Mae West of the dog world. Svelte and wriggly she has a just-there-to-please-you nature all wriggles and brindle.
Ruby is at the shelter through no fault of her own. Herself and her senior companion who was placed with rescue Toby were left behind by their previous owners. A terrible crime for any animal to be abandoned.
That has not held Ruby back though. She loves food, treats, cuddles and more food. A belly rub and a game of fetch are fantastic.
Ruby pulls a little on the lead but always waits for you and checks in when walking off the lead.
She is a bit hesitant of strangers at first but once she gets to know you, you are her new best friend.
Ruby knows how to sit drop and shake hands.
Ruby would like a home with an older male companion of similar size or she would be happy on her own.
Good fencing is a must with a warm bed inside and to be part of the family. She was also very good to vet.
Ruby does feel the heat, she would need to have somewhere cool to go in the Summer. We have contemplated the shell pool but we are a bit adverse to getting our toes wet.
Ruby is not suitable for pocket pets, cats or small children. Even though she is gentle she could still bowl them over.
If you think you would qualify to have this precious gem close to your heart then please contact the shelter. Please share Ruby's profile lets find her a home
Cheers
XO
