About Mika
Mika has been in care on and off for a couple of years. She first came to us as a pup out of the pound. She was rehomed and we took her back after 12mths and she has now been back with us for a couple of months.
She is a pretty special girl and has come a long way since she has been back.
She now socialises well with other dogs and loves to play with them, big and small. She loves her food, very much, and is now sitting and waiting patiently until you tell her she can eat even though it is a huge effort for her as she would have her head in the bowl before you could get it on the ground.
She absolutely loves swimming and water. She has been out to the weir and other places that she can swim and she just swims and swims. It is hard to get her out of the water.
Mika has really matured into a gorgeous girl and just can’t do enough to please you. She loves kids and males and has tested ok with cats.
She needs to go to a home where she will either have another dog or continue to be socialised. Preferably with older kids as she is such a boof. When he tail wags, the whole body goes with it.
She is great in the car and knows how to walk well on the lead but sometimes tries you out. Her recall is fantastic.
Mika will only go to the most suitable home as she has had a pretty rough couple of years and she deserves the best future.
