Nelli *On Trial in Her New Home*

*NELLI IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* “Definitely a keeper if we weren’t about to start travelling” is how sweet Nelli’s retiree foster carers describe her….and they’re just a tad smitten with this delightful little dog who’ll roll over for a belly rub at every opportunity!

Nelli is a healthy, happy little dog with a sweet personality who can be a bit wary meeting new people though soon warms up to show her friendly, affectionate side. She would be fine in a home where she’s the only dog but only if her humans were home a lot as she’s used to having company so a retiree or stay-at-home mum or even someone who works from home would be perfect. If you were to be away for most of the day then a home with a doggie friend would suit her fine.

Loveable Nelli’s a well-behaved little dog whose tail only stops wagging when she’s asleep. She’s a gentle natured girl who isn’t at all ‘in your face’ or licky and she’s not a yapper and will only bark for a reason which isn’t often. She’s terrific with other dogs having previously lived with some and she’s great with cats. \ Nelli also loves children and is used to being around them though not too boisterous or they might frighten this little petal.

Clever Nelli knows ‘sit’ and “stay” and enjoys a diet of dry food and chicken necks which she will sit and wait for – she also loves Schmackos which she gently takes from your hand. She enjoys chasing a ball even though she doesn’t bring it back! As Nelli’s spent most of her life on acreage she’s now being fostered in town and is learning to walk on a lead although she can be a bit jumpy/nervy around noisy traffic but she’s getting better each day and looks forward to her daily walk.

Nelli has always been an outside dog though we reckon she’d love a home where she could enjoy an indoor / outdoor lifestyle and be part of the household’s goings on. \ Secure fencing, daily walks or runs around the back yard and lots of belly rubs would make sweet Nelli very happy indeed!
