*ZEUS IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE*
"Somebody find me somebody to LOOOOOVEEE!"
Sorry I can’t sing as well as Freddy Mercury, but I do really mean it!
I am a pretty cool dude named Zeus though the farmer who’s fostering me keeps calling me ‘Bruce’ cos supposedly cool peeps are named Bruce! I somehow ended up in a country pound for a few weeks and now all I want to do is love my own person or family and have them love me back.
I have been through the wars and have a few scratches and scars (but I am still very handsome!), and I am a bit skinny (but my foster family are fattening me up) and I LOVE food and I LOVE pats and cuddles! Somewhere in my past I must have had a nice person in my life as I know how to sit, shake hands and to stay, and I am gentle when I get given food (food ...... mmmmmmm yum though I’m not a fan of dog treats, I prefer human stuff like cheese and kabana!). I am learning the niceties of behaving in the house, as I wasn’t allowed inside in my old life, and enjoy sneaking up onto my foster mum's lap when she is on the couch (I am a very clever lad!) I then just lay there and sigh happily every few minutes and look lovingly into her eyes to let her know that I appreciate the second chance I’m being given.
I adore other dogs (I am with 4 other fur critters at the moment, and a funny looking bird they call a Galah.... or maybe it is me they are calling a Galah?!?) And kids? They are FUN! Probably wouldn’t want them too little around me as I am not a small dog and might accidentally knock them over...certainly not on purpose, but these things happen...And I have a VERY waggy tail! Although I'm not a fan of cats so a cat-free home is the GO!
I am a healthy, happy and friendly bloke who just wants to be near you. Nothing much bothers me, I am easy going and laid back and love going for leisurely strolls on a lead. Just a heads up though, you will need good fences as I am a bit of a Houdini when it comes to my foster cares’ farm fencing and if you are on the other side of the fence to me I will show you my love by climbing my way to you! They reckon colorbond fencing would be perfect for me, the higher the better!
Not sure what heritage I am - Bull Arab? Doesn’t matter - I am just me and if you think you have a place for me where I can be loved (and I promise to love you back multiplied by 55) ..... I'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU! So please download and complete a SARG Dog Adoption Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/
Zeus is desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and wormed.
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
