Louise ~ Jack Russell Terrier X (trial 20/10/15)

Precious Louise is a 1 year old wire haired Jack Russel Terrier. Her only mission in life is to be around people who love her and to make them smile on even the glummest of days! She is the most gentle, kind and snuggly little princess you will ever meet and she will never fail to make you smile. She loves nothing more than snuggling up to people of all ages and is especially fond of kisses and cuddles from the kids.

Louise needs to go to a home where she will be an inside dog and, while she has no issues with separation anxiety and can spend some time alone, I think she is best suited to a home where she can spend a lot of time with the family. She is also suited to a quieter home as the hustle and bustle of a busy home can sometimes be a bit much for her timid self.

Louise is toilet trained and is very good when taken out regularly but does do the odd poo inside as she's still learning. She is excellent when walking on the lead and getting a bath and nail clip. If she is bored she will tend to start to chew but if you provide toys for her to chew on there is no issue and if she makes a mistake It is very easy to tell her to stop and she will stop immediately. She is even learning to sit and stay for puppy treats!

Unfortunately little Louise has had a rough start to life, clearly enduring some form of abuse in the past, and therefore needs to go to a very special home. She tends to be extremely frightened of certain people at first. Some people, she will have no issues whatsoever with, but there are others that may bring back memories for Louise and may take some patience to get use to them. She may also need time to adjust to visitors coming in the front door.

In saying this she is in NO WAY aggressive (she is a a big sook) but tends to hide until she knows you mean no harm. Once she figures this out you won't see the back of her! She never has any issues with children. She absolutely loves them! Her loving, affectionate and kind hearted nature makes her the perfect playmate for anyone willing to put in the time.

She is a loyal, loving puppy who just loves to play and cuddle! It varies how long her coming out of her shell takes and patience will be needed during this time but when she does it is just amazing!

It is likely that this will take longer than the two week trial and it will be an ongoing process to develop her confidence and return her to the happy, trusting puppy she once was. She deserves the time and if your heart is big enough the reward it gives you makes the time spent well worthwhile.

She is very playful and energetic but is also content with any opportunity for a cuddle, pat or a snooze. This precious girl is more than happy laying on your lap watching tv with you, having a run around the yard with the kids or going for a walk.

Louise would LOVE to go to a home with other friendly, playful dogs her own size as she just loves to play and cuddle with them! No matter the breed or age, it does not seem to phase her one bit! She’s also GREAT with cats.

She is a beautiful, loyal and loving girl and we are desperate to find the forever family she truly deserves! Gorgeous Louise needs someone very special to make her a part of the family and put in the time and effort she deserves after the very hard start to her life that she has had.
