About Chrissy
***No More Applications please***
Our beautiful little blonde is finally ready to start looking for her forever home and we would love to see her in her home this summer so her new family can help settle her in.
Chrissy is still getting used to this strange world where humans want to spend time with her, a world where humans want to sit with her, walk with her and most of all touch her, all things she has never known and all things she is very wary of. So, we are looking for a patient and loving home who have a calm environment in which Chrissy can slowly adapt to their life without pressure or expectations, where Chrissy can progress at her own pace.
Chrissy is inquisitive, she loves playing with other dogs so it is a must that her forever home have at least one dog to help boost Chrissy's confidence and to show her the world can be a pretty good place to live in. Chrissy will come up to you for food and if you are patient and willing to give her time she will take a treat from your hand.
Chrissy is slowly getting used to walking on leash in quieter neighbourhoods and her new family will need to continue with all the basics that have been been started whilst she has been in care.
Chrissy is amazing, she is sweet, she wants so very much to be part of the human world but she just needs some further gentle guidance to get her there and the confidence to know that she is safe and the ability to make her own choices.
If you would like to see Chrissy have the confidence to one day hop up on the couch with you please visit our website www.beaglerescuevic.org and fill in our online application form.
Thank you.
