About Cara
Cara arrived into care with many of her other Beagle and Poodle friends and like everyone else is looking for her very first home.
Cara is a beautiful natured, cheeky, friendly girl who is still navigating her way through her new world and she is looking for a relaxed and happy family to join. Once Cara has settled in you will giggle at her frolicking and playing with other dogs and watching her confidence grow.
Cara is still learning all about our world and will retreat back and watch everything from a safe distance but when you least expect it she appears wagging her tail and eager to join in.
Cara is looking for a family who have another dog who can help teach cara how fun the world can be and a family who have children aged 15 and above who can also help with her confidence by walking her and playing with her.

Medical notes
Cara has Mild Hip Dysplasia so she will need a home where she can sleep inside and be kept warm, a home who will ensure her weight stays stable and a home where she can have moderate exercise such as lead only walking and swimming. Glucosamine supplements can also be added to her diet to aid her overall health.
As Cara gets older she may need Carprofen or Metacam; These are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) developed for use in dogs with osteoarthritis. Your local Veterinarian will be able to guide you through her care and needs.
