About Cookie
Cookie is a no fuss English Staffy who I rescued from the local pound. She is such a sweetie that even the Ranger was determined to find her rescue. Cookie appears to have been an inside dog as she likes to be inside, she loves cuddles, has kisses with the cats and gets along with a range of other pooches currently in care. She does like to guard the food bowl but is learning to share. Otherwise she has the typical staffy grin and is eager to please. She responds to tone of voice and will usually sit if asked.
Cookie shows no signs of trying to escape, loves to be the focus of your attention and is a great companion. Only small in stature so is ideal for travelling with her owner on adventures.
Points to consider....Cookie does get excited and will jump up against people, she will staffy whine a little to come inside but not much and quickly settles if ignored.
A great little young lady, deserving a loving home.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
