Introducing the gorgeous little beauty, young Roxy, a 4 ½ year old red husky girl who has been lovingly fostered for several months and is now ready for her forever home.

She has been living with foster siblings Bayley and Skye, she has got on reasonably well with them, but in fact she would much rather be an “only child” as she adores cuddles from her humans and prefers not to share these with other canines. She will socialise with other dogs without a problem but would prefer to come home to her own place afterwards. She is obedient and an excellent student and has new learnt social skills and rules very quickly.

She would be the perfect husky for a family of humans with older children as that is what she is used to, and she would like to be their centre of attention so that she can give them all of her love. She is a very good eater (has been fed 1 cup of dry food at evenings) and has thrived under the care she has received so that her coat, which was once falling out, is now lustrous and soft. She really enjoys a raw egg at least once a week in her dry dog food and she wouldn't say no to a treat at any time of the day.

Roxy is excellent on the lead, does not pull excessively and she has never tried to escape, so really quite low maintenance as huskies go. She would need to be able to come inside and be with her humans when they are around, though she is currently used to sleeping outside of a night. She is longing for her perfect home where everyone will dote on her, so please register your expressions of interest. No cats or pocket pets for this little lady.
