About Humphrey ~ Border Collie x (On trial 16/7/16
Humphrey: 12 month old Border Collie x
Here’s Humphrey!
Humphrey is one of a litter of four gorgeous siblings who found themselves at the pound at an early age.
Humphrey is a fit, active and happy puppy who would make a perfect companion for a young family, as he loves playing with children. He is an adorable, healthy and playful boy with a seriously lovely nature. Being very gregarious and friendly, Humphrey loves being around people and animals and gets along well with his siblings and the other dogs he has been sharing the household with. Being a very good-natured pup, he is easy to get along with and is constantly playing with his canine companions. Humphrey’s aims and passion in life are just to have as much fun as possible.
Although Humphrey is learning basic commands such as, sit, bed and stay and learning to walk on a lead, he needs a little more work and attention on his toilet training. However, he is very responsive and eager to learn and will soon be a very well-behaved boy. Even though Humphrey’s coat is a little rougher than that of his siblings, Humphrey is very low maintenance. He will grow up to be a medium size adult.
As Humphrey has always lived in a home with several other dogs, it is hard to predict whether he would be happy as an only dog. However, given plenty of love, attention and exercise, Humphrey would cope in most situations.
If you feel you can provide this super friendly pup with a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on or 0418 402 150 or email: drnmudgeebranch@yahoo.com. Humphrey is in foster care in Mudgee, NSW.
Recently surrendered (through no fault of his own) to Dog Rescue Mudgee – a Branch of Dog Rescue Newcastle, Humphrey is looking for a permanent home.
When the vet indicates that he is old enough, Humphrey will be de-sexed and ready to go to his new home. He is vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. His adoption fee is $350.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
